May Sun's multi media work crosses cultural and political
boundaries and transgresses forms and disciplines. The work is a
search for the dialectic between the personal and the political,
myth and history and the individual in the context of social
transformation. Sun pays homage to the immigrant laborers, the
politically disenfranchised and the disoriented outsiders, both in the
United States and elsewhere.
